It is a sad day for American Idol. Why is it so sad? The methodology that American Idol employed (two phone numbers) the night of the 25th disenfranchised many of Kellie’s followers - or, the votes weren’t counted at all. As former Research Director for CBS-TV I cannot conceive that an individual that received 10 million votes one week prior
would fall to a bit more than 3 million votes. Makes absolutely zero sense. There’s something very awkward with American Idol’s tallying system. Ryan, in fact stated that there were 47 million votes counted. I counted a mere 27 million. Where then did the other 20 million votes go???? Oh well. Kellie, hurry with your album. We’ll be lined up by the millions to buy it. A couple of old fans in Wyoming.
