Kellie Pickler: Top 10 Girls : Feb 28, 2006 : Something To Talk About by Bonnie Raitt : )

After Kellie's wonderful performance, she had the short interview with Ryan, in which she said, "I was scared I was going to fall. My heels are so high and so my legs were shaking." Well, I assure you Kellie did not fall. I think tonight we got the deepest look into why Kellie has such a good chance to triumph in this competition. In fact, Simon actually summed it up quite well, but, we're jumping a little ahead.

Let's Give Them Something To Talk About...

Oh, you gave them something to talk about indeed. Kellie came out with the jeans, pink tank top, and heels, and, needless to say, looked dazzling... truly too wonderful for words! The song she selected, Bonnie Raitt's Something To Talk About, has a fun sort of feel, and Kellie's choreography successfully mirrored the spirit of the song.

"I feel so foolish, I never noticed
You'd act so nervous, could you be falling for me?
It took a rumor to make me wonder
Now I'm convinced I'm going under

"They Call That Cal-a-mar-i"

I have to talk a little about Kellie's pre-performance interview, in which she tells us that she tried some squid. "They call that Calamari." What a charming moment. She also indicates it's not topping her list of favorite foods : ). Apparently the Hollywood folks, who are fond of dressing their doggies up in clothes, also made an impression on Kellie, who tells us that the dogs may have more clothes than she does... a very charming little interview.

"I'm Having A Good Time. Trying New Things."

Kellie also tells us that she's having a good time, and, it would seem this is an exciting new horizon in her career and life. Well, she's making the most of this opportunity, because her rendition of Bonnie Raitt's classic simply ruled. The judges were quite impressed also. Check it out:
