Okay, first things first... I love this song! Patsy Cline "Walking After Midnight." I love the music, and I love the words. Perfect choice Kellie. The Jelly Beans are happy!

"I walk for miles along the highway Well that's just my way of saying I love you I'm always walking after midnight searching for you I stopped to see a weeping willow Crying on his pillow maybe he's crying for me."

Okay, seriously, Kellie's singing was INCREDIBLE! Normally, I don't like shouting in big letters, but, she rocked. If you can't see a star before your eyes, you must be looking in the wrong direction. Okay, now this needs to be addressed. This week the judges were talking about how "Kellie Pickler's back!" The suggestion was that her Stevie Wonder performance was off.

Well, I completely disagree. I thought Kellie's version of Wonder's "Blame It On The Sun," was really soft and spectacular! So, really judges... Kellie never went anywhere. I think last week Kellie's singing was just fine, but, she seemed to be a little uncomfortable in the get-up they had her wearing. As you can see, this is a real, authentic artist, and, you shouldn't try to change her by dressing her up in the Dolly Parton style. Kellie doesn't need that. She's just fine as she is! This was my favorite Kellie Pickler performance to date.

One of the most wonderful things about Kellie, though, is I have the feeling I'm going to be saying the same thing next week. That it was my favorite. See, gives me a whole lot to look forward to...

In addition, the other contestants are also doing wonderfully, and, I know we're all enjoying their perfomances. This week I particularly enjoyed Taylor Hicks' version of "Not Fade Away." And, it's not just Taylor's singing, but also the dancing and crazy energy he brings to the stage. Also great, really super-great was Chris Daughtry with "I Walk The Line." That really knocked me over, as did Mandisa with "I Don't Hurt Anymore." Katharine McPhee is another one to keep an eye on. We all wish Kevin Covais the best, as he was eliminated this week. I still don't think it was that cool that Ryan was referring to him as "Chicken Little," but, oh well, I suppose it was all in fun.

This is the best season of American Idol ever... no doubt about it, and we can't wait to see what happens next. Go Kellie!
